Aloha, I didn't attend the benefit concert but I heard it was really good. I would like to share my thoughts of the World Wide Voyage, of Hokulea and Hikianalia and it's purpose of the travel. The Hokule'a voyage is long and there will be several places and countries it will visit. It is a four year journey and the places it visits will be interesting.
The Hokule'a will be traveling for 4 years on a double haul canoe with a manual steering. Members of the crew will need to live in small quarters and work together.My class will be traveling to Aotearoa February 4th through the 19th. They will be sharing our culture with our Maori cousins. Their stay is for 14 days. Hope their trip will be safe and have fun.
